Vumba/Burma Valley Scenic Tour

(Daily in Mutare starting at 8.30)

First stop is the “unique tree” with an interesting root system. Move on to the Prince of Wales View before continuing to the lush, evergreen Burma Valley. Experience the gentle nature of a Shona family on a “back to earth walk” for relaxation. Move to the Banana, Pineapple and Tobacco farms for the first hand experience of the fruits’ growing and processing. From here go up the mountains of mist, where the colourful Vumba gardens feature a variety of indigenous and exotic floras among water gardens and spectacular views. Explore the Bunga forest, a unique evergreen mountain forest reserve. Lunch will be at a cosy mountain inn. You may also visit the majestic Leopard Rock Hotel. Return to Mutare at approximately 17.00 hours.
